Mark Zuckerberg friended ‘The Simpsons’ on Sunday night.

As we told you in July, Zuckerberg became the latest celebrity guest voice on the Fox animated show.

He appeared in an episode called ‘Loan-A-Lisa,’ in which grampa decides to give the family their inheritance early and Lisa uses her $50 to give Nelson’s bike shop a micro loan. Nelson becomes so successful that he drops out of school. So Lisa takes Nelson to an entrepreneur expo to meet super successful people to encourage him to stay in school. They stumble on Zuckerberg manning the Facebook booth.

The billionaire entrepreneur, who just gave $100 million to help Newark, N.J., public schools, admits he dropped out of Harvard to focus on Facebook.

‘Better earnin’ than learnin’,’ Nelson exclaims.

‘Hell yeah!’ Zuckerberg says. ‘I’ll get the best kind of degree: honorary, baby!’

When Lisa objects, saying Zuckerberg must be an exception, Zuckerberg lists off fellow dropouts Bill Gates and Richard Branson.

The Simpsons appearance coincided with the opening weekend of “The Social Network,” the making of which Zuckerberg did not participate in.

Turns out the movie did not need Zuckerberg’s help: It grossed an estimated $23 million.
