Armand Emamdjomeh is a web and video producer for latimes.com. At the Times, Armand splits his time between shooting and coding, developing new features for the site as a whole and building interactive story packages. Behind the lens, Armand shoots and produces video for the Times’ Technology Blog and Entertainment sections, and has also shot for food and features sections.

Before coming to the Times, Armand attended journalism school at the University of California at Berkeley, where he concentrated in photography and new media and was a founding member of Mission Local, a local news website covering San Francisco’s Mission District. He also interned at the New York Times’ Bay Area Blog.

Prior to a career in journalism, Armand worked in international relief and development, serving as coordinator of an IT in education program in the West Bank.
