Facebook claimant Paul Ceglia not in Ireland, uncle says

Paul Ceglia certainly is a man of mystery.

Now his uncle in Ireland says he’s not ‘lying low’ there.

In an interview with the Connacht Tribune, Frank Keaveney said: ‘I know my nephew and he’s not in Ireland.’

That directly contradicts Ceglia, who told his hometown newspaper in Wellsville, N.Y., this week that he moved to Ireland to escape a campaign of harassment and intimidation orchestrated by Facebook.

According to his uncle, Ceglia lived for nine years in Cummer and attended Corofin National School in the 1980s before the family returned to the United States.

Keaveney didn’t seem to think much of his nephew’s chances of winning his lawsuit against Facebook alleging that Ceglia is entitled to half of Mark Zuckerberg’s multibillion-dollar stake in the company.

“I certainly won’t be sitting out on the front porch downing tequilas waiting for a check to arrive in the post,” he said.
