Brian Buchanan, a 31-year-old black man, was shot at 6815 S. 11th Ave. in South-Central Los Angeles and died at 2:12 a.m. Feb. 6.

Investigators described this as an ‘in-house’ gang-related crime involving a personal dispute that, according to police reports, included insults and wrongdoing to someone’s mother. Anyone with information about this killing is asked to call Dets. Shannon Geaney or Vivian Martin at (213) 485-1385.

* Update: This case has been cleared by arrest in LAPD’s 77th Street Division.
