Luciano Barajas, 28, listed as unknown ethnicity by the coroner and as Latino by sheriff’s deputies, was found in a shallow grave at 22550 E. Fork Road in the Angeles National Forest on Saturday, March 17. His death was subsequently called a homicide. Detectives said he may have been killed up to two weeks ago. He was from South Gate.
