Click here for this week’s map of homicides so far this year in Los Angeles County, as reported by the coroner. The map was made by Michael Quick, a USC professor who constructs it weekly for readers of The Homicide Report.

Tan markers indicate homicides in the past week; black markers are those prior, back to Jan. 1, 2007. Santa Monica had its first homicide of the year this week.
