The Los Angeles County coroner sought the public’s help Thursday in identifying this woman, a homicide victim, whose body was dismembered and dumped in multiple locations in Highland Park and Pico Rivera. The first remains were found in a bag on the street in Pico Rivera on Sept. 30, 2005. Later, more body parts were found in a dumpster in Highland Park.

Investigators believe the victim was white or Latina with slightly gray strands in her black hair, between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-7 inches tall, and 25 to 45 years old. Her body parts were found unclothed. She had no jewelry, and no known tattoos. Anyone with information is asked to call coroner’s Investigator Daniel Machian at (323) 343-0754, or after hours at (323) 343-0714.
