Two images of murder victim Donzell Ghoston, 18, were displayed at a street shrine near the alley in Baldwin Village where he was shot Aug. 26. Below left, in a youthful portrait, he wears a guileless look. In the second photo, Ghoston appears to be just slightly older, but is striking a fearsome pose and flashing a gang sign.’ That’s what happens around here,’ an acquaintance said, commenting on his changed visage.
