Gemora Jawana Knoxs, 33, a black man, was shot multiple times in the 1000 block of West 130th Street in Gardena at about 3:18 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, and died within minutes.

Gardena police got calls from people who heard the shots. Officers found him lying in the middle of the street. He died at the scene. More to come.
