Khalfani Taylor, a 17-year-old black youth, was fatally shot in an alley near the 14700 block of Chadron Avenue at about 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene, according to Det. Tracy Gonzales of the L.A. County sheriff’s homicide bureau.
