Ary Caballero, a 19-year-old Latino man, was shot at 10900 S. Grevillea Ave. in Lennox at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9. Authorities said Caballero was attending a party when a suspect or suspects sneaked behind a neighbor’s block wall, then began firing at several of the invited guests. Caballero was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:28 a.m. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call (323) 890-5500.
