Jose Villalobos, 37, a Latino man, was shot to death at Hill and 24th streets near downtown Los Angeles about 2 a.m. Sunday, June 8. Villalobos died at the scene.

According to Officer Karen Smith of LAPD’s media relations office, Villalobos was shot following a bar fight with four Latino gang members. One of the men pulled out a handgun and shot Villalobos, police said.
