Pomona: Man, 18, is shot multiple times

Michael Rodriguez, an 18-year-old Latino man, died of multiple gunshot wounds on Nov. 17, 2008, in the 1000 block of West 11th Street in Pomona, according to coroner’s records.

Pomona police said Rodriguez did not respond when they reached him about 10:15 p.m, according to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. He was driven by Los Angeles County fire officials to La Verne’s Brackett Field, where they planned to take him by helicopter to a trauma center. Rodiguez died before he was put on the aircraft.
