East Los Angeles: Man, 30, found dead in street

Alfred Rangel, a 30-year-old Latino man, was found shot multiple times in the middle of a street in East Los Angeles before dawn Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, authorities said.

Sheriff’s deputies found Rangel at 4:45 a.m. near Michigan and McDonnell avenues. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
