Benito Naiera, a 74-year-old Latino man, was stabbed to death Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at his home in the 2900 block of West 8th Street in Los Angeles, authorities said.

Los Angeles police said Naiera and his roommate, Cresencio Gomez, 63, got into a violent argument that morning. Authorities responding to a report of a stabbing about 9:15 a.m. found paramedics outside the home treating Gomez. Inside, they found Naiera in the living room with multiple stab wounds, according to an LAPD news release.
