Homicide Report status

The map of homicides in Los Angeles County now contains all deaths reported by the coroner’s office as homicides through March 2, 2009.

Since restarting the blog last month, we have been working to complete posts on homicides that took place since the blog went on hiatus in October.

As you will see in some of the latest posts below, we now plan to turn our attention to recent homicides.

We continue to work on filling in the gaps and hope to have additional information on each homicide by the time we relaunch the report in its new database format some time in the coming months.
