Compton: Youth, 17, dies in stabbing

Thomas Williams, a 17-year-old black youth, died of a stab wound to the abdomen on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, in the 100 block of East Bennett Street in Compton, according to the coroner’s office.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has issued an arrest warrant for the arrest of Latravia Whaley, 18.
