Ivan Sanchez, a 15-year-old Latino, was shot several times in the chest in the 1400 block of Hacienda Boulevard in La Puente on Saturday, June 6, according to authorities.
A dark car approached Sanchez while he was walking and someone fired off several shots at him, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Sanchez was taken to a hospital where he died.
Deputies say the incident is possibly gang related.
