Gabriel Banos Arcos, a 17-year-old Latino, was shot several times and died June 19 at ahospital. He was shot in the 6200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Arcos was standing at a bus stop with friends when someone came up and shot him, said Craig Harvey, chief coroner investigator and chief of operations for the coroner’s office.
He was shot about 1:25 p.m., taken to the hospital, and died at 2:04 p.m., Harvey said. Police are calling his killing possibly gang-related.
