God had the 10 Commandments. Today, Rudy Giuliani did Him two better, issuing his ’12 Commitments.’

The GOP presidential candidate unveiled his manifesto at a town hall meeting in New Hampshire (the Mount Sinai of U.S. politics?) in an appearance his campaign had billed as a major event. We’re not quite sure about that, given that some of Giuliani’s pronouncements fall in the Mom and Apple Pie category: ‘I will impose accountability on Washington;’ ‘I will lead America towards energy independence.’

A couple, though, illustrate the fine line he’s been trying to walk on the abortion issue, as Christi Parsons with the Chicago Tribune points out. Go here, and scroll down to her item, and you’ll find Giuliani’s complete list.
