Good news this morning for far-away Ticket readers who want a copy of the newspaper’s historic front page from the post-election Barack Obama victory edition of Nov. 5. (Click on the headline above or the ‘Read more’ line below to see the now-famous page.)

Perhaps you folks were slightly reluctant to fly cross-country to wait in the long lines at the newspaper’s downtown headquarters.

Even on Sunday, five days after the election, lines stretched two blocks around the

Times building (See video). And sales of the extra copies hovered around the half-million mark with some 20,000 printing plates already on advance order.

Well, now the newspaper has established an online link for anyone with a U.S. shipping address to purchase unlimited quantities of that edition ($2), plus mini-posters ($10) and actual printing plates of that day’s front page ($20).

Also, they’ll soon be offering oversized 4 x 7-inch refrigerator magnets of the front page for $5. (All prices plus shipping.)

The same items for the same new prices will continue to be available at The Times’ Spring Street headquarters downtown, but to avoid lines, online purchases are recommended.

O.K., the waiting is over. Here’s the front-page order form right here.
