The Ticket will be throwing in real-time (or close to it) reports from the field as Inauguration Day progresses. Here’s an iPhone update from Times Staff Writer Mary Forgione in Washington:

I left the quiet street of upper Georgetown on foot about 6:30. It was quiet save for a few out and starting to head into the city.

Now at 7 a.m. around 17th and K streets we are a formidable army on our march to the inauguration.
