Not really too much to add here this time.

Wolf Blitzer of CNN, who wears his playoff beard all year long, asks the press secretary for Barack Obama how he’d grade the White House press corps after almost 100 days of presidential coverage.

‘Honey, do you like the new dress I picked out all by myself?’

Of course, it’s a stupid question. What’s Robert Gibbs gonna say, ‘I like the dress a lot, dear. It makes your butt look absolutely huge!’

First off, Gibbs has gotta work with the White House press corps every single day until, like happened to Scott McClellan, his boss thinks he’s not delivering positive media coverage anymore.

Oh, and come to think of it, come Wednesday -- Day 100 of the Great Change Era, when the president has by pure coincidence scheduled a trip to St. Louis to dominate the day’s news and then a prime time news conference to control the next morning’s discussion agenda -- this very same press corps will be giving a grade back to the Obama administration.

Wonder what that grade will be.

Second, and even less surprising, Gibbs probably really meant it when he gave the Obama press coverage so far a ‘solid A.’

See for yourself here.
