President Obama has been telling ‘the Slurpee Story’ a lot while he campaigned for fellow Democrats across the nation.

“We’ve been pushing that car, pushing it, pushing it, pushing it,” Obama said, comparing the country to an automobile. “The whole time, the Republicans have been standing on the sidelines. They’ve been looking down, fanning themselves, sipping on a Slurpee. Kicking dirt down into the ditch. Kicking dirt in our faces. But we kept on pushing.”

Sylvester Stallone on election day used a different analogy, referencing a film he said was about a ‘fake president.’ The man known as Rocky and Rambo tweeted, ‘Gotta get the Manchurian Candidate out of the drivers seat before were ALL soaring off a cliff into Oblivion.’ Grammar aside, it appears Rocky has had enough of Obama.

Wonkette doesn’t think Stallone, who has made millions from film, has even seen ‘The Manchurian Candidate’ or is confused by it because the critically acclaimed movie ‘is about a brainwashed right-wing elitist sent by a playing card to kill a presidential candidate,’ therefore clearly not about Obama, the satirical political blog wrote.

Stallone, who recently had a summer hit with the blockbuster action flick ‘The Expendables’ (which included a cameo by longtime friend and outgoing Republican California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger), explained to the Hollywood Reporter that his message was ‘in the spirit of creating a conversation.’ His reference to the 1962 film starring Frank Sinatra as a Korean War veteran brainwashed by communists was ‘a reference to all career politicians.’ Sly’s response had Sean O’Neal of A.V. Club wondering, ‘So every politician has been put there by foreign enemies to destroy America?

Maybe the Oscar winner can write a film to explain exactly what he means. Perhaps he can also address his feelings about lobbying.

‘Lobbist are nothing but bribing Machines!,’ Stallone tweeted Tuesday. ‘If you took a bribe, jail time, but THEY do it and get elected! It is a CRIME, folks, A CRIME.’
