Ding, dong. That was Servite’s kicker hitting the crossbar and then the left post on two long field-goal attempts in the second quarter. The field-goal unit then lined up for a 50-yard try, but bungled the hold and the kick was blocked. Santiago missed its own 32-yard field goal attempt, but the Sharks are still holding a 7-3 lead at the half.

Looks like Pete Carroll is still hanging out, that’s a good sign. I see he’s signing autographs now. I wonder if I’ll see those on Ebay tonight too.
