It’s been a wild third quarter, but Birmingham is still holding on to a 28-14 lead against Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.

Notre Dame came out in the third quarter and got a 27-yard touchdown pass from Dayne Crist to Jeff Dickmann, cutting its deficit to 14-7. The Knights’ excitement didn’t last long. De’Von Flournoy returned the kickoff 90 yards for a Birmingham touchdown.

Crist led the Knights on a 70-yard drive, with Thaddeus Brown scoring on a six-yard run. But Birmingham running back Milton Knox keeps picking up the yards. He scored on a four-yard run with 39 seconds left in the third quarter and has 116 yards rushing.
