Ranked second to Corona del Mar, Troy upset Orange County’s No. 1 team on Tuesday and, in so doing, ended CdM’s 35-match winning streak.

According to the Register, Troy strategized effectively as it sacrificed at No. 1 doubles in order to have its best team compete at No. 2, and its second-best at No. 3. Troy won seven of nine sets in singles in the 10-8 victory, and picked up the necessary points in doubles to close the show.
