I forgot what a nice setup they have here at University of Redlands.

Looks like the rain may hold off as well, as patches of blue are mixed in with grey clouds off to the west, creating a pretty spectacular view.

They have an auxillary field here at Redlands, so Dominguez took advantage of that space to run some pregame plays. An REV official told me Dominguez was running ‘routes’ but Dominguez barely throws the ball, so that probably wasn’t the case.

I’m glad the Dons will have an even playing field to show their stuff. Last time I saw them, they played at Corona Centennial in 100-degree heat and 40% humidity.

Security seems pretty tight. A guy with multiple tattoos, lip piercings and dyed hair just rode his bike up alongside the field and joined a group of REV supporters. He was quickly approached by a security guard, who questioned what he was doing there.

‘He’s a former player,’ said another in the group.

Apparently, that wasn’t enough to convince the security guard, and the young man hopped on his bike and rode off.

Is that any way to treat alumni?
