Funeral for wife of San Fernando coach

Our condolences go out to San Fernando football Coach Tom Hernandez, whose wife, Norma, died Monday from complications with lupus.

A rosary will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at St. Didacus Church, 14339 Astoria Street in Sylmar. The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Didacus.

San Fernando plays El Camino Real in a nonleague game Friday, and the school is leaving it up to Hernandez whether he will coach his team that night.
