Top point guard nears decision

The No. 1 girls’ point guard in Southern California, Nikki Speed of Los Angeles Marlborough, is getting close to making a college choice. Rutgers and Duke are considered leaders, with California also in the running. She has visited all three schools. ‘She wants to go where she’s going to grow as a person as well as an athlete,’ Coach Trent Jackson said. Look for her decision in the next two weeks.
