The place to be in Corona tonight looks like Centennial High School, but the folks down the road at Santiago would probably disagree.

It’s homecoming at Centennial and it looks like one big party.

Carnival booths are set up outside the stadium, balloons are everywhere, the stands are packed and ‘Tootsie Roll’ is jamming over the loudspeakers.

Clovis West’s side is about one-third full.

Uh oh, the overzealous Centennial fan is here, the one that tried to talk me into subtracting points from Crespi’s final score a couple week ago because they came as a result of Centennial mistakes. He looks like he has his game face on.

Kickoff is about five minutes away. I’ll check back after the first quarter.
