The Dorsey assistant coach I often chat with is talking excitedly.

‘I’m confident,’ he said as his Dorsey Dons and visiting Birmingham were warming up before their intersectional clash.

‘In them, I see us. Speed more than power ... similar size. I really think we can play with them ... and beat them.’

We’ll see. Fourth-ranked Birmingham just kicked off to unranked Dorsey.
