Ever seen that show on MTV titled ‘Scarred’? As the name implies, it involves injuries. Horrible, too-painful-to-even-watch injuries, to be exact.

Well, this is Los Altos’ Josh Contreras’ scarred story. If you’re squeamish at all, DON’T watch this video.

Contreras, a senior offensive and defensive lineman, got injured in the third quarter of the Conquerors’ 35-21 loss to St. Francis last Friday. The game was delayed for some time as a wheelchair was brought out for Contreras.

Then, as play resumed and Los Altos scored to make it 28-21, an ambulance came to the stadium to take Josh to a hospital. The video is touching, but the injury is gruesome.

I’m trying to wonder why anyone would put a video of their own injury on the internet, or send it to a TV show, but there are some touching, if not inspirational, moments in the video.

Josh, get well soon.
