I drove home from Las Vegas Monday morning in faster time than I made it from Orange to Temecula this evening.

Halftime just ended for Riverside North and Chaparral, but looks like I didn’t miss much. North is leading, 26-7, in front of Chaparral’s homecoming crowd. I know it’s homecoming because I got stuck behind a girl in a prom dress and fedora as I walked into the stadium.

North, ranked No. 13 in the Southland by The Times, had to punt on its first drive of the second half, so let’s see what No. 24 Chaparral’s offense has to offer.
