San Dimas takes early advantage in Smudge Pot game

San Dimas has jumped to a quick lead, scoring on a three-yard run by Erek Brown. I say three, but it could be two. Thee are no hash marks, so who knows.

The TD was set up by a 35-yard run by Nico Barbone.

Bonita’s Doug Griffith nearly returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown, but he was hauled down from behind at the Saints’ 35.

The Bearcats came up empty-handed as Chris Pace sacked QB Terry Paradez on third down.

The SGVT’s reporter almost got hit by the punt while standing on the sidelines. We may be too close to the action.

Bonita just fumbled a punt return and San Dimas takes over at Bonita’s 24. A Saints coach just screamed, ‘PAT ready!’ so I guess they are planning to score.
