Defending champion: Laguna Beach

How it shakes out: This is a four-team league with pretty evenly matched teams. Estancia (2-4) and Laguna Beach (1-5) are the only ones with victories this season. Laguna Beach has scored seven or fewer points four times. The advantage is likely with Estancia. The Breakers and Eagles play in a season finale on Nov. 9.

Editor Bob: Not surprisingly, we haven’t sent a photographer to an Estancia or Laguna Beach game in quite some time, so the best I could do was find a photo of an eagle (left). I guess I could’ve opted for a breaker, a wave...or an artist.
