South Hills jumped to a 14-0 lead mainly because it jumped all over Los Altos running back Bryce Mahmud-McBride. For the game’s first 19 minutes, it looked like two Huskies linebackers were spying BM-M on every play.

Before the game Los Altos Coach Greg Gano said if South Hills takes away BM-M’s ability to run to the outside, ‘we’ll just run it inside.’

And if they stop the inside, which South Hills has, Hano said they’ll just pass it, which Los Altos has done.

BM-M finally broke loose right before halftime and scored on a 28-yard pass from Junior Tamayo with 4:18 left. Los Altos headed into the locker room down, 14-7.
