After starting its season 0-2, South Hills will enter San Antonio League play next week on a four-game winning streak after beating Los Altos, 35-21, on Friday night.

‘The first two games were flukes, you know. We should have played better than how we played,’ said South Hills’ Dorian Wells, who scored on a 41-yard run in the fourth quarter for his team’s final points of the night.
‘Now we’re all gelling together. Back then we weren’t playing as a team; now we are starting to play as a team. We moved some positions and they kind of gel together.’

One of those moves was inserting Junior Cameron Deen at QB and moving senior Brandon Parham from QB to wide receiver. Parham, however, hasn’t forgotten how to throw the ball as he demonstrated by completing a 50-yard pass to Alex Bromatead on South Hills’ first play from scrimmage.
