El Dorado is cruising past Canyon

Over the last five games, El Dorado has allowed only 28 points. With 10:04 left in the third quarter tonight at El Modena High, the Golden Hawks lead Canyon, 28-0.

This Century League game is in the bag.

Kane Wilson just sidestepped a would-be tackler and heaved one into the end zone, where Kyle Allen emerged with the ball like a magician. I swear, he was the fourth guy in the end zone who touched the ball after it appeared to slide past the hands of another receiver and two defenders.

Canyon Coach Brent McKee told me that ED ‘is a Pac-5 team.’

Who else outside the Pac-5 deserves such distinction?

Corona Centennial, St. Bonaventure, Hart, Dominguez ...
