Most teams would be happy to have one 1,000-yard rusher.

Norwalk (5-3, 3-1) is on the verge of having two.

Senior Robert Penny (6-0, 200 pounds) surpassed the plateau with 172 yards in 17 carries in the Lancers’ 42-21 victory over Artesia in a Suburban League game Friday at Excelsior High.
