Fires, poor air not likely to affect games in the SGV

So far, from what I can tell, every varsity football will go on as scheduled, even Thursday’s games. That could change tomorrow if the skies haven’t cleared up, but that’s the latest from the SGV.

Los Altos Coach Greg Gano said his team’s game against visiting Charter Oak is still on for Friday night, adding that the schools’ freshman and junior varsity games were moved from Thursday to Friday.

He did caution that if the skies didn’t clear up on Thursday, Miramonte League official might change their minds, ‘but I’m expecting everything to clear up.’
