The question I have is WHY? As in, why is Valle Vista League game between Baldwin Park and Pomona being played tonight?

Players, coaches, fans and reporters are at risk -- OK, not at risk like firefighters -- but at risk nonetheless from the bad air quality caused by the wildfires that have encircled the Southland.

I hope it’s mask giveaway night at Ganesha High, because there is no good reason that this game should be played. There is no reason ANY game should be played anywhere in Southern California this weekend.

On another note, Glendora and Chino have pushed their Sierra League game back one more day. The game was scheduled for today but got moved to Friday at Chino Hills at 7. It’s been moved again to Saturday, but no stadium or time has been picked.
