Christensen quashes job rumor

Carson Coach Michael Christensen said the rumor he is applying for a head coaching position at Colorado State University-Pueblo, a Division II college, is an old story.

‘That was a long time ago,’ Christensen said Thursday. ‘They hired John Wristen, the former tight end coach at UCLA. He went to school at there [at Colorado State University-Pueblo]. It was a good pick for them.’

Christensen joked that the revived rumor ‘probably came from a Narbonne or San Pedro fan.’
