Cold snap

One of the girls in the homecoming celebration just passed by. She sat perched and unmoving, along the back seat of a convertible. My guess is, she’s frozen to the spot.

It’s suddenly gotten really breezy, in an icy kind of way. Just a reminder that we are near the water, in Long BEACH, pictured right. I feel sorry for all the girls in their prom dresses.

The football teams probably don’t now, though. The homecoming celebration is holding up the start of the second half.
