Our newest ‘prep correspondent,’ Times staff writer Kevin Baxter, reports from College of Canyons tonight that Hart, ranked No. 4 in the Southland by The Times, holds a 21-14 lead over Valencia after three quarters.

You may know Kevin better as one of our baseball writers. He’s a great addition to our staff and is watching tonight’s game as a fan, though he can’t help report what he knows.
