Suburban League moves football games to Monday

Word in the Suburban League is that all games scheduled for tonight have been postponed to 7 p.m. Monday at the previously planned sites.

‘It has not been fun,’ said Kim Brooks, the athletic director at La Mirada. ‘We’ve gone from Plan A, to Plan B, to Plan C, to Plan D.’

Well, you know what they say about the best-laid plans...

Games between Artesia and La Mirada, Glenn and Bellflower and Mayfair and Norwalk were changed to Monday in the wake of fire and air-quality dangers that have affected much of Southern California during the past week.
