Made it to Ayala in time to see the Bulldogs kick off to crosstown rival Chino Hills in a key Sierra League game.

Ayala is 2-0 in league after suffering through an 0-10 season a year ago.

Chino Hills is 1-1, having lost to Glendora, which will host the Bulldogs on Friday at Citrus College.
If Ayala can win this one, I’ll head over to Citrus College. If not, I’ll likely check out the nonleague game between Norco and visiting Rancho Verde.

I overheard some students on the way in say it felt like Friday night. Too bad they won’t be sleeping in tomorrow. One girl also made the comment that Ayala looked like ladybugs. I have to admit, the red-and-black combination on the pants and jerseys is a bit of an eyesore. They should go all black with red numbers, or all red with black numbers. I’ll give Coach Tom Inglima my fashion pointers after the game.
