The Jordan football team will not be penalized or have to forfeit games this season following a Friday meeting between school officials and a City Section appeals committee.

City Commissioner Barbara Fiege could not be reached for comment, but according to sources, she had ‘questions’ regarding the clearance of eligibility for several unnamed Bulldogs players. After documentation was provided by the players, the appeals committee ruled Friday that it was adequate and there will be consideration for administrative errors, sources said. Further review of those possible errors is pending.
