While regional teams didn’t have much luck in the second round of the Division I-AA playoffs, there were plenty of winning results in other divisional contests.

Dos Pueblos defeated El Dorado in four games behind a 12-kill effort by Caitlin Racich, and Channel League champion Santa Barbara, the favorite to take home the divisional title, swept Nipomo in three games.

But it wasn’t a Channel League sweep. San Marcos, which downed Canyon in the first round, fell to Pac-7 League champion Arroyo Grande in three.

Megan Norton tallied 12 kills as Harvard-Westlake defeated Los Osos in three to prove the Wolverines are definitely going to challenge the Dons for the divisional title.

And divisional title-hunter Oaks Christian and Golden League champ Quartz Hill each triumphed in Division III-AA.
