This just in from the City Section seeding meeting. A Jefferson representative faileld to show up to exchange films as required to participate in the post season.

Jefferson has been removed from the City Invitational football tournament and will be replaced by Roosevelt.

And guess who Roosevelt gets to play in the opening round: Garfield. The two teams played before more than 17,000 fans on Nov. 2, with Roosevelt winning.

John Aguirre, the City administrator in charge of the meeting, said the change is final.
